Matthew L. Troiani


During his seven years of legal practice, Matt Troiani has served as counsel to a wide variety of businesses specializing in real estate transactions, finance and management. He has experience working in large law firms and as in-house counsel. Matt concentrates his practice in commercial and residential real estate transactions, commercial transactions, finance, business formation, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Matt graduated from University of Maryland School of Law, where he served as a staff member of The Business Lawyer, the Official ABA Section of Business Law, and as an associate editor for The Journal of Business and Technology Law. He also honed his oral advocacy skills in moot court competitions and as a law clerk in the Parole Division for the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Prior to attending law school, Matt spent a year providing securities and intellectual property litigation support for a large law firm in DC.

Matt attended the University of Notre Dame, during which time he studied abroad in London and performed Shakespeare on the stage of the Globe Theatre. He also taught English and coached soccer in France at a summer camp for French teenagers.

Outside of the law practice, Matt teaches Ethics and Business Law for Webster University’s MBA Program. He also enjoys cooking, travel and playing with his two-year old son. Matt is active in the community as a Rotarian.
